Microsoft Dynamics AX 7:- The new release of Dynamics AX (7) is an ERP which can be used anytime, anywhere, on any device and it comes with new development work-space.

Microsoft Dynamics 365:- Microsoft Dynamics 365 is a cloud service which is a combination of Microsoft’s current CRM and ERP cloud solutions with new role based subscriptions and purpose-built apps. Dynamics 365 includes analytics from Cortana Intelligence and Power BI, and powerful features of Office 365. Users can select apps as per their business demands, they can adopt additional capabilities with ease as all the apps work together.

There Will be Two Editions of Dynamics 365

Dynamics 365 Enterprise Plan 1 includes CRM and these Apps:

• Microsoft Dynamics CRM and light ERP
• Min 20 seats on select offers
• Sales
• Field Service
• Customer Service
• Project Service Automation

Plan one does not include operations whereas Dynamics 365 plan 2 includes plan 1, Adobe Marketing Cloud and operations or AX(7).

Dynamics 365, Business Edition includes:

• Financials
• Sales
• Marketing

The difference of Dynamics AX 7 versus Dynamics 365 Enterprise Edition Plan 2 is that you can purchase plans and not just an on premise application.
